PURPOSE:To compose a compact and lightweight tilt-type steering device, by pivoting a movable bracket and a fixed bracket movable relatively and rotatable through a tilt cam. CONSTITUTION:A movable bracket 2 is installed inside a fixed bracket 1, and rotary shafts of a tilt hinge 3 which consist of bolts 8 are inserted to a right side and a left side shaft holes 2a respectively to gear the bolts 8 rotatable to round holes 6 of the fixed bracket 1 by inserting bushes 9 and cams 7. At the top of the bolts 8, nuts 8a are screwed penetrating through shaft holes 11a of holders 11 at the outer sides of levers 10, and the all parts are fastened and fixed being rotatable. The cam 7 is formed in a disk, and a cam projection 7b and a cam hole 10a are formed therein. When the levers 10 are rotated, the cams 7 are rotated counterclockwise, and the movable bracket 2 is slided upward toward the fixed bracket 1. |
