<p>PURPOSE:To achieve higher reading resolutions of an analog meter, by dividing a single dynamic range into a plurality of partial ranges to process. CONSTITUTION:For example, OV is given at the minimum angle of deflection position of a pointer as the first scale train and the maximum 250V of a first partial range, at the max. angle of deflection position turned by 90 deg. clockwise therefrom. On the other hand, likewise, a scale train is given along the direction of an angle of deflection of the pointer pertaining to the second partial range and, for example, the minimum 250V pertaining to the second partial range is entered at the position of the minimum OV pertaining to the first partial range, and the maximum 500V pertaining to the second partial range at the position of the maximum 250V pertaining to the first partial range and a median is provided properly as scale. Then, a decision circuit (comparator 17 or the like) specifies which of a plurality of ranges an input quantity of electricity belongs to while it redoes the specification of the partial range which contains a quantity of electricity in the range thereof as noted when the input quantity of electricity diverts from the partial range specified. This achieves higher reading resolutions of an analog meter.</p> |
