PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which, when used as a molding used in areas in contact with various hydraulic fluids or lubricating oils in various hydraulic machines, does not form cracks on the surface or undergoes not rubber fracture, by adding sulfur and a specified vulcanization accelerator to NBR. CONSTITUTION:An NBR composition prepared by adding sulfur and a vulcanization accelerator comprising a 3-8C alkyl thiuram or thiazole compound to NBR. Although the vulcanization of NBR has heretofore been performed by using sulfur and a valcanization accelerator comprising a 1-2C alkyl thiuram or thiazole compound, there is a disadvantage that when its composition is molded by vulcanization into a molding and is used in areas in contact with various hydraulic fluids or lubricating oils and when the metallic ion concentration in the oils is increased, the surface of the molding is cracked or rubber fracture occurs. By using the vulcanization accelerator comprising a 3-8C alkyl thiuram or thiazole compound, it is possible to obtain a vulcanized NBR molding freed of the above disadvantage.
