PURPOSE:To obtain a large torque, by a method wherein the interconnection of the title motor is effected so that the polarities of armatures, neighboring in the group of respective armatures with each other, are converted alternately and all of the armatures in the group of respective armatures are excited by only a current having the same phase. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is constituted of armatures 3 of 9-pole and 3-phase AC power is supplied to respective terminals A-C. In this case, the stator 1 is constituted so as to be divided into the groups A-C of armatures, consisting of a plurality of neighboring armatures 3. In respective groups of armatures, the interconnections thereof are effected so that the polarities of neighboring armatures 3 are converted alternately while all of the armatures 3 in the groups A-C are excited by only currents (A-C phase) having the same phase corresponding to the groups A-C of armatures. As a result, most of flux, generated from the armatures, pass through approximating magnetic fields or neighboring armatures and a closed loop is described by the flux, therefore, the magnetic field, contributing to the rotation of the title motor, may be increased and a large torque may be obtained.
