The invention relates to a folding sofa 1 with an underframe 2. A component 3, which is composed of the seat elements and can be folded down, is rotatably fixed to said underframe 2 at 24. The padded seat 4 of the folding sofa 1 is mounted on the fold-down component 3 and one half 5 of a double-bed padding is fixed to the underside of the padded seat 4. The other half 6 of the double-bed padding is mounted on a lifting device 8 in the base region 7 of the underframe 2.
