Simplified tone control circuit for LF amplifier - has variable potentiometer, RC components in double-T network connected with differential amplifier

The tone control circuit has a differential amplifier (2) connected at its non-inverting input via an RC-network (3) to the signal input (1) of the circuit, and at its output (9) to the signal output (10). A potentiometer (7) is connected by its slider to the inverting input of the amplifier and at its slider to the inverting input of the amplifier and at its ends via two fixed resistors (4, 8) to the two ends of the circuit. Alternatively the slider may be coupled via a fixed resistor to the input and one end to the inverting input of the amplifier. A feedback capacitor may be connected to the amplifier's output to a point in the RC network. The RC components fro a double T-network. The circuit can be used for both audio frequencies and intermediate frequencies.
