PURPOSE: An auxiliary brake system for a vehicle is provided to operate a caliper by compensating hydraulic pressure of a master cylinder with generating hydraulic pressure through a shock absorber lowering the height of the vehicle in braking. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary brake system of a vehicle is composed of a controller(12) outputting a signal in receiving signals from a vacuum sensor(11') formed in a booster(B) connected with a surge tank in an intake manifold of an engine through a vacuum line(P) and a switch(11) detecting operation of a brake pedal; and an auxiliary operating unit(10) interlocking with a shock absorber of a suspension system according to the signal from the controller and supplying hydraulic pressure to a caliper. Hydraulic pressure is supplied to the caliper and braking force is improved with pressurizing oil through the shock absorber.
