PURPOSE:To process only a required part from an information source by making either image sensor or a information source magnifying only a part of the information source selectively and processing the result. CONSTITUTION:In processing the information by a device 11 the part of the required information source is placed at a specific position of a mount part 2, the required part of the information source is magnified by the external operation from the operation section 5 to apply processings such as copying, storage or processing and transmission or the like. Conversely, the stationary image sensor 4 is used and the movable information source is employed, then only the required part of the information source is surrounded by a marker made of a special ink or the like and only the surrounded part is read by using the image sensor 4, magnified in the inside of the device and the processings such as copying, storage, processing and transmission are applied. Thus, useless man-hour is saved in processing the required information and the processing time is reduced and the cost is saved.
