PURPOSE:To improve safety by arranging the constitution in such a way that a pallet supporting member having a stopper, at the upper face, for engaging with a pallet is provided at a transfer port and the driving of the supporting device is stopped when overloading is caused at the time of the supporting member retreatment. CONSTITUTION:A supporting device 20 comprising an electric cylinder 27, levers 24a, 24b, a supporting member 21 and stoppers 29a, 29b is provided for the transfer port of a pallet 10 so that the bottom of the pallet 10 may be supported. The electric motor 27 is so constituted that it may be stopped at overloading by providing a current limit relay. By this constitution, the pallet 10 is supported or released by advancing or retreating the supporting member 21 by the expansion or contraction of the electric cylinder 27. Since the stopper 29a, 29b are hooked in grooves at the bottom of the pallet 10 which are not shown in the figure when it supports the pallet 10, the stoppers 29a, 29b contact with the groove wall and causes overload when the supporting member 21 retreats and stop the cylinder 27 preventing the pallet from falling down. In this way, the safety is improved.
