PURPOSE:To serve a circuit provided substantially for a test also as an on-line error detection in a duplicated system constitution by adding a selection circuit switching a signature at an on-line normal operation and off-line test operation. CONSTITUTION:A signal 10 is a control signal switching a signal 80 at on-line and a signal 81 at off-line. The signal 10 is selected to the on-line side and the signal 80, (8'0) is selected by a selection circuit 9, (9'0) and inputted to a comparator 4, (4'). Thus, the effect of a fault of one system during the on-line of the circuits 1, 1' or the device appears as the difference in the signature in compressors 3, 3' and detected by the output of the comparator circuits 4, 4'. The correct signature value in this case is used as the signature value based on the opposite output, compared normally or periodically (according to the instruction of the timing signal 12) to monitor the normality of the device or the circuits 1, 1'.
