PURPOSE:To improve workability and to permit easy and sure proofing by constituting a titled photosensitive material in such a manner that an under coating layer of a base contains a UV absorbent and the photosensitive layers on both faces form images of hues different from each other after development. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material has the photosensitive layers 2, 2' respectively directly on both faces of the substantially transparent base or have the photosensitive layers via the under coating layer provided on both faces or one face of the base. Said photosensitive material is so constituted that the base or (and) the under coating layer on both faces or one face thereof contains the UV absorbent and the photosensitive layers on both faces form the colors of the hues different from each other after development. This photo sensitive material after the development displays a coincident part (part where a correction is not needed) and a different part (correcting part) of the fresh plate and old plate in three colors on a sheet of film if such photositive material is used for character proof in a printing and plate making stage and, therefore, the generation of a proof error is obviated and the simple, easy and sure proofing is permitted. |
