PURPOSE:To prevent finger injury in cleaning and to improve fruit retaining characteristics, by extending a horizontal rod member for a guide to hold a fruit on a rotary transfer locus of fixtures to a position to cover the top and the left and right of a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A fruit fed from an inlet 7 to juicer 1 is sustained in a vertical plane containing a cutter 5 by a guide 9, a cut part 4a of a pair of rotating fixtures 4 is intruded into a lower horizontal rod member 9c of the guide 9 to press the fruit against the cutter 5 and the fruit is halved. Then the halved fruit is sustained by the oscillating fixtures 4 and the fruit is pressed against a throttling cone 2 rotating while positioning on the rotary transfer locus of the fixtures 4 to squeeze the fruit. When a cover 6 is opened in case of trouble or for cleaning, since the cutter 5 is covered with horizontal rod members 9a-9d of the guide 9, injuries by the cutter 5 can be prevented.
