PURPOSE:To detect the overspeed of a moving speed by monitoring a set output of a flip-flop set by an output pulse from an encoder and reset together with the start of interruption job. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse is sent from an encoder 7, a flip-flop 20 is set and interruption is given to a CPU 21. The CPU 21 clears immediately the flip-flop 20, a series of picture read (interruption) is applied and when it is finished, the routine is restored to the main routine to check the level of a terminal 21a. When the flip-flop 20 is set, it is recognized to be overspeed, the level of the terminal 21c is brought into 'H' to light an LED 23. Thus, it is possible to detect the overspeed by using one flip-flop only. Since no externally mounted component is required for the flip-flop, the degree of circuit integration is increased.
