摘要 PURPOSE:To read an original without using a selfoc lens array, by adhering closely and connecting a photoelectric transducing means and the original on first side and second side being brought into contact with the first acute angle of a parallelogram transparent chip. CONSTITUTION:Illumination light (a) and (b) are made incident from an upper base plate 105, and are projected on the original 102 passing through a slit window 107 and a transparent chip 104. Reflected light at a point (f) on the original 102 is provided with a light quantity corresponding to the density of the original 102, and it is made incident on a photoelectric transducer array 103, and is converted to an electrical signal corresponding to the light quantity. The transparent chip 104 is formed in a thickness of around 1.2mm, and the acute angle of the cross-sectional shape of the transparent chip 104 is formed at around 45 deg.. By arranging the photoelectric transducer array 103 and the original 102 by adhering them closely on the parallelogram transparent chip 104, it is possible to constitute a contact type image sensor without using the selfoc lens.
