<p>PURPOSE:To uniformly abut a main shaft and a rotary swash plate on their respective bearing by forming the abutting surface of a radial bearing on a main shaft, the inclining angle of the main shaft to the rotary swash plate, and the thrust race surface of the rotary swash plate so as to satisfy their specific angular relations respectively. CONSTITUTION:A main shaft 16 is attached with its center axis OR inclining at a fixed angle of theta1 from am axis OR perpendicular to the thrust bearing surface ST of a rotor 14 serving as a rotary swash plate toward the top dead center of the rotor 14. When the axial length of a radial bearing 15 is denoted by l, and a clearance between the main shaft 16 and the inner peripheral surface having the minimum inside diameter of the radial bearing 15 by c, the angle of theta1 is selected 80 as to satisfy the formula of theta1>tan<-1>{(c+ltantheta1)/l}. On the other hand, the abutting surface of the radial bearing 15 on the main shaft 16 is formed in an annular conical surface inclining at a minute angle so as to separate from the maim shaft 16 with its inward progress. In addition to that, the thrust race surface 141 of the rotor 14 is formed in a taper surface having an angle of theta2 smaller than the angle of theta1.</p> |
