The machine can be coupled to a tractor by at least one connecting point (14). During operation, the machine bears on the soil by supports (7) and is pivotal w.r.t. the tractor about an upwardly directed axis. The axis (12) is located in front of the connecting point, taken in the direction of operative travel. Seen in plan view, the axis is located between the lower lifting arms of the lifting hitch of the tractor.
