PURPOSE:To realize the stoppage and re-propagation of a magnetic flux quantum precisely without decreasing the Velocity of propagation of the magnetic flux quantum by providing a means stopping the fluxoid quantum through an inductance formation means and a means re-propagating the magnetic flux quantum between an upper electrode and a lower electrode. CONSTITUTION:An insulating layer 2 for inductance is interposed between an upper electrode 201 and a lower electrode 202 for a concentrated constant type Josephson line 20, and an inductance constituting section 1 as a means stopping a magnetic flux quantum is formed to an interposition section. The same material as insulating layers 204 is used as the insulating layer 2 for inductance, and the insulating layer 2 is shaped in size longer than the insulating layers 204. Consequently, the value of inductance in the inductance constituting section 1 is formed at a value larger than the sections of the insulating layers 204. Current injection lines 5 for injecting auxiliary bias currents to junctions 11 in front of the direction of propagation of the magnetic flux quantum are connected to the inductance constituting section 1 besides bias current supply lines 4, and a means re-propagating the stopped magnetic flux quantum is organized. |
