摘要 PURPOSE:To attain high speed multi-address communication efficiently by applying copy transfer of a multi-address packet to all outgoing lines in an internal network having a multi-address function and applying parallel processing of adoption/throw-away and selection of the multi-address packet and the replacement of header at the outgoing line in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A multi-address call identification number is defined to each multi-address call passing through an exchange station and the packet is sent to a packet transfer network by having only to write the multi-address identifica tion number to the header of the multi-address packet single in the incoming line. In the packet transfer network, the bus and loop are used and the same packet is copied and transferred to all outgoing lines at the same time. In this case, the multi-address identification number defined with the logic channel in the outgoing line is received and the header is replaced. In case of multi- address from a terminal equipment 31 to terminal equipments 32-35 for the packet 301, the packet is copied into packets 302, 303 in a station I (36). A logic channel number 1 is assigned to the packet 302. The packet 302 is copied into packets 304, 405 in station II (37) and reaches the terminal equipments 32, 33.
