PURPOSE:To securely detect the completion of the winding of one frame and all frames by providing a rotary substrate where a radial pattern part is provided on the reverse surface of one end part of a sprocket and bringing slide brushes in contact with the patterns and generating electric signals when a film wound around a spool is taken up around the sprocket. CONSTITUTION:The film wound around the spool 501 is taken up around the sprocket 402 and the rotary substrate 420 provided with plural radial patterns 420a-420c, etc., are provided on the reverse surface of one side of the sprocket 402 is provided. The slide brushes 422-424 are brought into contact with them, and their contact points are utilized to lead electric signals out according to the rotation of the sprocket 402. Then the spool 501 and sprocket are both driven and rotated up to the middle of take-up operation and it is decided whether one frame or all frames are taken up from the obtained electric signals; and the sprocket is freed when the completion is judged.
