<p>PURPOSE:To produce a plated product having superior adhesion by forming a plastic molded product having micropores by foam molding and by successively subjecting the product to etching, catalytic activation, chemical plating and electroplating. CONSTITUTION:A plastic molded product having uniformly dispersed pores of about 0.2-0.8mum diameter in the skin layer is formed by form molding under high pressure at a low foaming rate of about 5%. The product is etched to make the pores in the skin layer open and the product is catalytically activated by immersion in a soln. of a complex salt consisting of tin chloride and palladium chloride. Metal Ni or the like is deposited in the open pores by electroless plating and then electroplating is carried out to electrodeposit a plate layer. Thus, a plastic molded product having a plated layer with stable adhesion is obtd.</p> |
