PURPOSE:To achieve a higher analysis accuracy with the uniforming of analysis work, by a method wherein a robot is put in cooperation with an analyzer and a cleaner to analyze a sample continuously and the density of particle size of the sample are measured, and then, followed by the cleaning of a container. CONSTITUTION:A robot 1 is made work in cooperation with a analyzer 14 and a cleaner. With a stirring rod 10 held at a working end 2, a sample is agitated in a feed container 6 to prevent uneven density due to the settlement of powdered coal. A sample 22 in the container 6 is dried and placed on a plate of an electronic balance scale 11 to measure and analyze the density of the powdered coal contained in a coal.a water slurry with the scale 11. Then, the particle size of the sample is determined with a particle size analyzer 12, the sample is irradiated with laser light and the diffraction thereof is detected to examine a particle size distribution. Thereafter, the container 6 is inclined, cleaning water is jetted intermittently thereinto through a nozzle providing for a cleaner.dryer 16, and then, a hot air is blown to clean up and dry the container 6 automatically. This can reduce required labor for analysis work for the quality control of a coal/water slurry significantly while enabling quick analysis work.
