<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a loss due to friction of a tension band in its drive torque by braking a tension arm at the tie of rewinding and reproducing only and slackening the tension band wrapped around a reel base on the feeding side. CONSTITUTION:At the time of rewinding and reproducing, the reel base on the feeding side is rotated anticlockwise, and then an idler gear 15 is driven by the feed reel base 20 to turn an idler base 13 clockwise with an oscillating torque to be engaged with a control pin 4c. Then, the tension arm 4 energized by a coil spring 7 to be turned counterclockwise is weakened in its turning force. Consequently, the tension band 5 wrapped around the feed reel base 2a is slackened. and the feed reel base 2a becomes free from being braked by the skin friction of the tension band 5. In this way, the drive torque for the feed reel base 2a can be set at a rather low level.</p> |
