发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a high density image of an efficient gradation to be obtained still on a plain paper of a low smoothness, by making a heat fusible ink composition having heat fusible substance which is solid at ordinary temperature and colorant as main constituents be contained in fine porous texture containing thermal expansive substances. CONSTITUTION:Thermal expansive substances contained in fine porous texture are thermally expanded according to heat energy by heating with a thermal head or the like, and a heat fusible ink composition composed of heat fusible substances and colorant which exist among texture comes to be in a state where it is pushed out. A great quantity of ink oozed out and consequently, said ink is easily transferred to not only the protruding part but also the depressed part of a paper. For instance, forming substance is used as thermal expansive substance. For instance, ammonium carbonate or the like can be used independently or in a combined manner. As resin composing fine porous resin texture, thermoplastic resin of vinyi chloride or the like and thermosetting resin of phenol or the like are used. Though coloring dye and coloring pigment are exemplified as colorant, the dye is preferable.
