摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent an air-fuel ratio from becoming overrich at starting of an engine at high temperature wherein an initial increased value of fuel quantity after starting the engine is set, and the value is gradually decreased at a predetermined decreasing rate, by changing the decreasing rate of the initial increased value according to temperature of a suction system. CONSTITUTION:During operation of an engine 1, an ECU 5 calculates an after- starting fuel injection time when an engine speed to be detected by an engine speed sensor 12 after cranking is greater than a predetermined cranking speed. First, a basic fuel injection time is read according to the engine speed and an absolute value of suction pressure. Next, an after-starting fuel increasing factor is calculated according to an output from a water temperature sensor 10, and the fuel increasing factor is gradually decreased at a predetermined decreasing rate. Then, according to a fuel injection time corrected by the fuel increasing factor or the like, fuel injection is carried out. At this time, when a suction air temperature to be detected by a suction air temperature sensor 9 is not less than a predetermined value, the decreasing rate is changed to increase.
