LOWER PART CHARGING TYPE INDUCTION HEATER

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a furnace body and to uniformly heat materials to be heated with high thermal efficiency by supporting the materials which are to be heated and are charged and drawn out from a lower part by means of plural inclination preventive bodies in contact with the upper part thereof and lifting said bodies under the guide of lifting guides. CONSTITUTION:Ingots 6 imposed on a lifting table 5 are charged and drawn out through an inlet and outlet 3 in the lower part of the furnace body 1 provided with an induction heating coil 2 and are subjected to a heating treatment. The ingots 6 of the above-mentioned bottom charging type induction heater are supported by the plural inclination preventive bodies 10 in contact with the upper part of the ingots at spaced intervals. Said bodies 10 are guided by the lifting guides 12C provided to the upper part of a gate type supporting frame 12 disposed on the outside of the furnace body 1 and are discretely lifted by the actuation of hydraulic cylinders 11 in the state of maintaining contact with the ingots 6. The spacing between the coil 2 in the body 1 and the ingots 6 is thereby diminished, by which the size of the body 1 is reduced and the ingots 6 is heated uniformly with the high thermal efficiency and power factor.
