PURPOSE:To freely adjust temp. of charged material in a furnace, to enlarge the reduction zone and to reduce the fuel ratio by making a part or all of plural preheated gas blowing nozzles arranged at the shaft part movable and making them reciprocating toward furnace center direction. CONSTITUTION:A part or all of plural preheated gas blowing nozzles 2 arranged at the furnace wall 1 of shaft part in the oxygen blast furnace are made of movable type. These movable type nozzles 3 are made to freely reciprocate toward the furnace center direction by hydraulic cylinders, etc. In this way, not only the heat supply to the upper part of furnace, but also the control of temp. distribution of charged material in the furnace can be executed. Further, the blowing to the furnace center, the reduction of fuel ratio and the stable operation for a long time can be carried out.
