<p>Foundation wallpaper strip has a plastic layer on its outer face to reduce the adhesion of decorative papers applied to it. Specif. the layer may be a polyvinyl, polyacrylate or polypropionate based-coating. Pigments such as kaolins or calcium carbonates may be added to the mix. The layer may be broken at regular or irregular intervals. It may consist of a plastic sheet, pref. water-permeable. The whole foundation paper may be perforated.</p> |
