PURPOSE:To surely detect a collision of carriers even though the force of collision acts on an optional position in the horizontal direction, by attaching a plate spring extending horizontally to a support member fixed at the front part of the carrier body together with a contact switch having a contact B. CONSTITUTION:A support member 3 extending horizontally is fixed at the front face of a motor-driven carrier and a plate spring 4 extending at the front part of the member 3 and in parallel with this member 3 is fixed at the end part of the member 3. A vertical intermediate part of a rubber late 12 extending horizontally has a contact with the front face of the spring 4. A buffer 7 is fixed to the plate 12 and plural aperture parts 15 are provided to the member 3. A contact switch 5 having a contact B is fixed to a support metallic parts 199 with a switch operating member 6 fixed to the spring 4. When the force of collision acts on the buffer 7, this force is transmitted to the spring 4 via the late 12. Then the member 6 moves by the deflection of the spring 4 and the switch 5 is operated.
