PURPOSE:To arbitrarily fetch one direction rotating force from among the reversible rotation of a driving shaft, by a method wherein a driven gear engaging with a driving gear and a shutter gear with a cutout in the tooth thickness direction are coaxially disposed and a friction mechanism is provided between the aforesaid gears. CONSTITUTION:By the reverse rotation of a motor 502 a carrier is traveled toward its home position, whereby a ratchet gear 509a and a shutter gear 16 are rotated while deeply engaging with each other in the tooth thickness direction and stopped by abutting against abutting surfaces 16f. At this time, the teeth surfaces of a gear 509 always abut against the teeth surfaces 16e of the gear 16 due to the braking action of a friction spring. After a detection switch is actuated and the carrier is stopped, a motor is rotated forward to rotate a carrier pinion 506 in a direction E and stopped rotating before a stop tooth 2b of a rack and a cutout 506f are engaged with each other. At this time, the gear 509 rotates in a direction F to slide on the abutting surfaces 16f of the gear 16 to pass between feed teeth 16a, thus engaging with the teeth of a PF gear 15. In this manner, the motor is controlled to control the engagement of the gears, whereby a power can be arbitrarily fetched.
