PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctions due to noises, etc., by stopping the working of a device to be controlled and having its control stopped. CONSTITUTION:When both common terminals 55 and 56 of a power supply switch SW1 are set under the conductive states after a central control part 11 is started, the power supply voltage VCC is applied to an input terminal CK of a flip-flop FF 25. Thus the FF 25 is set and a control signal Q3 is delivered to the part 11. Thus the part 11 delivers the clear signals to both FF 23 and 24 to reset these FF. As a result, the outputs of control signals Q1 and Q2 are stopped. Thus the part 11 is turned off after a prescribed process if a changeover switch 8 is changed over to the TV side while the part 11 is kept turned on. Therefore the part 11 has no runaway at all even though an operator looking at the TV images displayed on a display part presses a key input part 13 by mistake.
