PURPOSE:To easily form a paint film having a uniform thickness to the entire area of a surface to be painted, by a method wherein powder paint is sprayed to a work while the work is rotated and the spraying condition of the powder paint is kept constant. CONSTITUTION:The powder painting means 52 provided at a painting position is equipped with a hopper 53 receiving powder paint, a recovery tank 54 for recovering the powder paint sprayed to a work 1 under its own wt. from the hopper 53, and a supply means 55 for again supplying the recovered powder paint to the hopper 53 in circulation. Further, the work rotary driving means 56 provided to a support bracket 45 to rotate the work 1 is mounted. The work 1 fed out from a heating oven is positioned in an inclined state under the hopper 53 and is rotated along with a holder 2 by the rotational driving of a motor 64. When the shutter of the hopper 53 is opened in this state, the powder paint is sprayed to the rotating work is by gravity.
