PURPOSE:To attempt improvement of traction performance and prevention deflected abrasion by forming two stripes of zigzag main grooves and two stripes of auxiliary grooves of the identical shape of smaller width than main groves on their outside on the tread central part, and forming a specific cut-off part at each of protruding angled ends of the crown parts of the both sides of the main and the auxiliary grooves. CONSTITUTION:Two stripes of zigzag-shaped main grooves 3 and two stripes of zigzag auxiliary grooves 4 whose width is smaller than the main grooves 3 are formed on the central part of a tread part, and each of protruding angles ends 8 of the crown parts 6 and 6 of their both ends, shown by abc is cut off. The side bc is parallel with the tire circumferential direction and is a cut-off starting end edge 9, and the slanted surface with the sides bd and cd located on the side wall of the main grooves 3, namely, bcd is cut off to form a cut-off ending end edge 10. And a recession part 12 of a rectangle in the lateral direction in the plane view at the center of the cut-off starting end edge 9 is so formed that the three side walls end at the bottom parts of the main grooves. By this constitution, prevention of deflected abrasion and improvement of traction performance can be attempted. |
