A controllable louvred ventilator has adjustable louvres (15); and pile weatherseal strips (38a, 38b) seal the gaps between the louvre ends and the ventilator frame (16). The louvres (15) have leading and trailing edge formations (28, 29) which overlap, and water collecting edge channels (32) which open at their ends (as at 37) below the pile weatherseal strips (38a, 38b) to drain water into internal water drainage channels (16a) (see Fig. 3) of the frame. The pile weatherseal strips (38a, 38b) have the top surface of their piles lying in a common plane and touching one another, the strips (38a, 38b) being of different transverse dimensions and having their T-slot mountings (100, 101) (see Fig. 3) disposed in stepped relationship to one another. |
