A flexible coating compsn. comprises: (A) a hydroxy-contg. urethane modified polyester having a number average mol. wt. (mn) of 1,000-10,000, pref. 2,000-4,000; a hydroxyl number of 30-200, pref. 50-120; 1-10 urethane gps. per molecule; and prepd. by reacting: (1) a urethane modified diol prepd. by reacting a diol and a diisocyanate in molar ratio from 4:1 to 4:3, pref. from 2:0.8 to 2:1.2; (2) a polyol comprising at least 5 wt% triol; and (3) a dicarboxylic acid or anhydride; (B) an amine-aldehyde or polyisocyanate crosslinking agent; and (C) 0-60 wt%, based on the total wt. of (A) and (B), of a linear polyurethane having a number average mol. wt. of 15,000-40,000. |
