The invention relates to a single- or multi-wheeled load-conveying vehicle, comprising a receiving container for the material to be conveyed with strut-like supporting and pushing handles arranged thereon and with a stand device which projects downwards in the region of the supporting and pushing handles. In the case of this load-conveying vehicle it is provided that the wheel (15) is mounted rotatably in a holding device (20) and that the holding device (20) is mounted such that it slides in a sliding device (30), arranged on a lower side of the receiving container (10) for the material to be conveyed, and such that it can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. This has the result that the rotational axis of the wheel can be changed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in order to gain a more favourable distribution of weight around the rotational axis of the wheel (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
