The invention relates to a heat-insulating covering for roofs comprising corrugated panels. The heat-insulating covering comprises insulating panels 10, 11, in particular consisting of rigid polystyrene foam, which are adapted to the profile of the corrugated panels 4, 5 and bear, on the non-profiled side, a sealing web 12, 13 which has been laminated on. The longitudinal borders 8, 9, running in the longitudinal direction of the profile, of neighbouring insulating panels 10, 11 lie in the region of one corrugation peak and one corrugation valley, with the result that a joint is obtained at the overlapping point 7 of the corrugated panels 4, 5, the width of said joint corresponding approximately to half the length of a corrugation. Inserted into said joint is a spring wedge 3 which is bevelled on the bottom on one side. The joint with the inserted spring wedge 3 is covered over by an overlapping border 14 of the sealing web 12. <IMAGE>
