PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent lubrication life under high-temp. lubrication conditions, which comprises a base grease composed of a lubricating oil and a (composite) lithium soap, a particular compd., and a phenolic or amine antioxidant. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil (a) (e.g., mineral oil) is mixed with a (compos ite) lithium soap (b) (e.g., lithium 12-hydroxystearate) to prepare a base grease (A). Component A is mixed with 0.5-10wt.%, pref. 1.0-5wt.% 5,5'-dithiobis(1,3,4- thiadiazole-2-thiol) (B) and 0.1-5wt.%, pref. 0.3-3wt.% phenolic or amine antiox idant (e.g., 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol). |
