PURPOSE:To enable the formation of selective reflecting film having a dominant wavelength for selective reflection coinciding with target wavelength relatively easily, by calcining sol-gel film formed on a substrate while controlling conditions of the calcination temp. by a specified method. CONSTITUTION:A substrate having a single or plural sol-gel film formed thereon is calcined while changing the calcination temp., determining the calcination temp. providing the peak of desired reflectance based on the obtd. relation characteristics between the wavelength and reflectance, then executing calcination at the determined calcination temp.
