PURPOSE:To exactly remove ozone, and also, to raise a cooling effect in a device by providing two pieces of ventilating means of a first ventilating means for allowing the open air to flow into the device, and a second ventilating means for exhausting the internal air to the outside of the device. CONSTITUTION:On a power unit 10 and a PCB 11, a first fan motor 12 is provided, and the air of the outside of a machine is allowed to flow into a printer. Also, on the right upper part of the printer, a second fan motor 13 is provided, the air of the inside of the printer is exhausted to the outside of the machine, and an ozone filter 14 is placed on this side in the ventilating direction of the fan motor 13. Accordingly, even if the power unit 10 and the PCB 11 are placed concentrically, a laser beam printer 1 is cooled by the ventilation of the open air, and also, ozone generated from a corona discharge device is diffused in the printer, fed to the second fan motor 13, its concentration is dropped by an ozone filter 14, thereafter, it is exhausted to the outside of the machine by the second fan motor 13. In such a way, the emission of ozone is decreased, and the cooling effect is raised. |
