PURPOSE:To accurately measure the shape and temp. of a char bed, by measuring radiation energy having a specific wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A black liquor 2 is injected into a black liquor recovery boiler 1 to be burnt and the radiation energy from the obtained char bed 3 is detected by the radiation thermometer 4 provided to the wall surface of the boiler 1. One or more of wavelength bands of 0.82-1.4mum, 1.5-1.9mum and 2.0-2.4mum are used in the measured wavelength by the thermometer 4 to avoid the absorption band of the substance (e.g., Na) in the black liquor. Further, the output of the thermometer 4 is operated by an operation mans 5 and a temp. pattern is displayed on the first display means 71 and the pattern when the temp. difference of said pattern is a predetermined value or more is stored in a memory 6 and the shape of the char bed 3 and a temp. pattern are displayed on the second display means 72. |
