摘要 PURPOSE:To reliably decide a high temperature restarting time and to perform optimum control of damping of fuel, by a method wherein the damping speed of fuel, an amount of which is increased during starting, is varied according to the rising speed and the lowering speed of the number of revolutions of an engine. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a cooling water sensor 38 and a rotation angle sensor 48 are inputted to an engine control device 45, and an increase value f fuel from a fuel injection valve 26 is set according to the temperature of cooling during starting. When a fuel increase value is damped after starting, the rising speed and the lowering speed of the number of revolutions of an engine are detected. When a rising speed is high, a damping speed is increased, and when a lowering speed is high, the damping speed is decreased. This constitution reliably decides a high temperature restarting time at which vapor lock occurs, and enables accurate control of damping of fuel.
