PURPOSE:To form a movable part with lightness of weight further with compactness, by forming a ball screw thread and a ball spline in an operating shaft and providing the first and second nuts to be meshed respectively with these ball screw thread and ball spline. CONSTITUTION:An operating shaft 7, which forms a ball screw thread 8 in the upper half part and a ball spline 9 in the bottom half part, screws the first nut 5 to the ball screw thread 8 while fits the second nut 6 to the ball spline 9, and a mechanism, providing the first and second pulleys 11, 12 integrally on the peripheral surface of the first nut 5 and the second nut 6, connects the first pulley 11 with a straight advancing motor 13 while the second pulley 12 with a turning motor 14 by timing belts 17, 20. In this way, the mechanism, which enables the operating shaft 7 to perform a linear motion, can form its movable part in light weight and compact size.
