PURPOSE:To enable a speed change control device to lightly perform its action, by first releasing action of a lockup device and placing a hydraulic pressure closed circuit in a conduction condition when the speed change control device is actuated to low speed change ratio. CONSTITUTION:A lost motion mechanism Lm, which is constituted providing an overload spring 115, for holding a connecting pin 108 to be pressed to the right end surface of a long hole 107, to be contracted, is provided between an actuator shaft 105 and a cylindrical shaft 106. When a speed change control device 93 is actuated from a condition that top speed change ratio is caused to a condition that low speed change ratio is caused, action of a lockup device is released first by actuating the lost motion mechanism Lm, and a hydraulic pressure closed circuit is placed in a conduction condition. Accordingly, next when the speed change control device 93 performs effective action, displacement ratio of an oil hydraulic pump and an oil hydraulic motor can be changed with no resistance, and the speed change control device can be lightly actuated.
