PURPOSE:To enable the thinning of a film of printing ink to be secured, by providing an elastic roller in contact with an ink roller, a doctor scraping the printing ink present on the elastic roller off, and a film thickness controller of the printing ink having a container of the scraped off printing ink. CONSTITUTION:A film thickness controller 90 of printing ink has an elastic roller 91 of which at least the surface is made of rubber or the like, a scraping off doctor 92, and a container 93 of the scraped off printing ink. The peripheral speed of the elastic roller 91 is the same one as that of a third metallic roller 23. Further, the elastic roller 91 takes excess printing ink off from the third metallic roller 23 and makes printing ink in printing uniform to obtain a film thickness suitable for printing, not more than 10mum. Excess printing ink on the elastic roller 91 is scraped off with the scraping off doctor 92 to be put into the container 93. The scraped off printing ink is generally returned 60 an ink tank to be used for printing.
