PURPOSE:To suck surrounding fresh air from a ventilation port and perform efficient ventilation work while discharging air including moisture or harmful substances out of a room by a method wherein a ventilation duct having a ventilation fan is arranged in inward direction of a ceiling part and an under- floor part so as to perform forced ventilation of air remaining at the ceiling part and a central part of the under-floor part. CONSTITUTION:In a forced ventilator 18a at a ceiling part, a ventilation fan 13a and a ventilation duct 14a are hung at a beam member 3 and a main house 4 through a vibration-proof hanger 12. The ventilation fan 13a is connected to a power supply through a 24-hour timer switch in advance and then it is operated from 1 PM having the highest humidity in the daytime for about 1 to 3 hours, and at the same time fresh surrounding air is introduced from an already installed ventilation port 23 into the room and ventilated. Therefore, the air in the ceiling part 2 can be held under its dried condition, thereby, moot, tick and harmful insect and the like can be prevented from growing and at the same time woody materials can be protected against corrosion to increase their life.
