PURPOSE:To maintain the quantity of water flowing in a supply water system of a hot water supply machine more than a predetermined burner ignition water quantity by automatically downward correcting the set value of hot water supply temperature when an adjusting valve is turned down and a burner is fire-extinguished at the time of supplying hot water from a mixing valve. CONSTITUTION:In a case where the temperature of water is high, the hot water side of an adjusting valve 21 is extremely turned down by the control of a mixing valve 14 and the quantity of water flowing in a water supply system 3 is decreased sometimes. For this reason, the water quantity data is constantly compared with a burner ignition flow rate. When the water quantity data becomes smaller than the ignition flow rate, a hot water supply solenoid valve 16 is opened and a burner 7 is fire-extinguished. Simultaneously, whether the hot water supply is stopped or not is judged by the presence or absence of an output of a hot water supply and the output of the hot water supply starting switch 13, and when the output of the hot water supply starting switch 13 is continued to be supplied, the hot water supply temperature of the hot water supplier is decreased. That is, the set hot water supply temperature data is downward corrected to an approximately intermediate temperature of the set hot water supply temperature of the hot water supplier 1 and the set hot water supply temperature of the mixing valve 14. After the opening degree on the hot water side of the adjusting valve 21 is enlarged and reignited, the hot water side of the adjusting valve is not extremely turned down but it maintains the burner ignition water quantity or more.
