发明名称 CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD FOR STAINLESS STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the development of depression mark and to restrain breakout phenomenon by using inorganic powder having the specific viscosity in powder casting. CONSTITUTION:While holding the molten steel surface covered by the inorganic powder 8 to almost constant, the outer circumferential surface part of molten stainless steel is cooled and solidified by a continuous casting mold 2. Then, the powder having 5-37 poise molten viscosity at 1300 deg.C is used as the inorganic powder 8. This powder 8 is pevetrated into a gap between the mold face 20 of continuous casting mold 2 and the molten stainless steel, and between the mold face 20 and semi-solidified cast slab W1, under molten state, to interpose as molten powder film state functioning as molten lubricator. In this result, as the molten viscosity of powder 8 is high, the depression mark is restrained and at the same time, as the molten viscosity is restrained to 5-37 poise, the breakout phenomenon is restrained.
