PURPOSE:To eliminate any necessity for providing a pressure generating pump, by introducing a refrigerant pressure in a delivery side to a pressure chamber of a piston back surface through a pressure introducing passage, having a control valve, and a pressure of a pressure generating device to the pressure chamber of the piston back surface in the time of starting. CONSTITUTION:A pressure generating device 400 arranges its outlet side pipe 411 to communicate with an auxiliary pressure introducing passage 430 via a solenoid valve 420 thereafter with a pressure chamber 136. In the time of normal operation, the pressure chamber 136 communicates with a delivery chamber 256 through a pressure introducing passage 200, but in the time of starting, the auxiliary pressure introducing passage 430 communicates with the pressure chamber 136, and power is transmitted by connecting clutch plates 140, 141. Accordingly, the necessity for providing a pressure generating oil pump or the like can be eliminated.
