PURPOSE:To ensure recovery even if the fatal abnormality of a data processor is generated by reading record data on a main memory via a diagnosis processor and recovering a record on the way of write based on said read-out data. CONSTITUTION:An external storage controller 6 contains an abnormality detecting part 62 which detects the fatal abnormality of a data processor 2, a means 66 which gives an instruction to a diagnosis processor 8 to read out the data to be written into the record on the way of write in case the fatal abnormality is detected under a write mode to an external memory 10, and a means which recovers the record on the way of write based on the data read out of the processor 8. The processor 8 includes a means 82 which receives a reading instruction of the data to be written and reads out the relevant data of a main memory 4 and a means which sends the read-out data to the device 6. Thus it is possible to receiver the data transformed record to its original state when the memory 4 is normal even in case the processor has the fatal abnormality. |
