PURPOSE:To simply and exactly execute a timing control and to obtain a light emission extending over many hours, by controlling an on-timing of an SCR by trigger signals of which phases are opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:In a state that capacitors C7, C8 are charged, when a trigger signal is outputted from a control part 21, an SCR 1 conducts, a voltage across a resistance 17 is supplied to an SCR 3, and by the high voltage of a secondary side of a transformer 13, a xenon discharge tube 6 is excited, and emits a light beam. By this light emitting current, C9 is charged, and the light emission of the discharge tube 6 is stopped. Subsequently, when the trigger signal of an opposite phase is supplied to a transformer 12 from a control part 21, an SCR 2 is turned on, the charge of the C9 is discharged, and the discharge tube 6 emits a light beam. Accordingly, the discharge tube 6 emits a light beam at the time of both charge and discharge. |
